Klipboard acquires Linxup to enhance its connected Fleet Management and Field Service Management

Klipboard, the global provider of sector-specific business management software, has completed the acquisition of Linxup, the market-leading fleet management platform with a broad product suite that helps customers in North America manage their vehicle fleets and field operations effectively.

Founded in 2004, Linxup provides a suite of cloud-based fleet and field service management solutions, including real-time vehicle tracking, AI-enabled dashcams, tool and equipment tracking, driver behaviour monitoring, and driver and vehicle compliance. Linxup’s cloud-based platform processes millions of data points every day and translates complex fleet and operational data into actionable insights. Its solutions enable customers to monitor and manage assets via a single, easy-to-use AI-enabled system, with workflows to improve productivity, reduce operating costs, minimise downtime, enhance driver safety and maintain visibility over vehicles, equipment and assets across their operations. Linxup’s operating model is centred on fast onboarding, self-installation, and high-touch onshore customer support in the United States to accelerate adoption, retention, and time-to-value.

Today, Linxup serves approximately 25,000 customers and more than 240,000 connected devices across a broad range of field service industries including logistics, distribution, construction and heavy equipment, equipment rental, HVAC and plumbing, landscaping and lawn care, transportation and utilities.

This acquisition further strengthens Klipboard‘s growing suite of solutions to manage its customers’ physical and field operations, including vehicles, tools, equipment and field-based teams.

The acquisition adds to Klipboard’s field service management expansion in North America, following the early-2025 acquisition and continued growth of RAM Tracking, a fleet tracking and mobile work management solution. This move reinforces its position as a leading provider of software solutions for SMB and field service businesses.

I am delighted to share that Linxup and Klipboard are joining forces to capture greater opportunities in the United States and North American markets. This milestone caps a sustained period of growth alongside our partners at Spectrum Equity, and opens an exciting new chapter for Linxup, our employees and our customers,” said Drew Reynolds, Chief Executive Officer of Linxup.

Klipboard’s portfolio of vertical specific software solutions gives Linxup access to a strong global software platform to accelerate innovation and deliver even greater value to our customers. Our customers will continue to benefit from the fleet management solutions they rely on today, while gaining access to a broader range of complementary software products and expertise. We are excited to become part of a larger global organisation that shares our commitment to helping customers improve efficiency, productivity and profitability,” said Ian Bendelow, CEO of Klipboard.

We are delighted to welcome Linxup to Klipboard. Linxup’s fleet management platform for field service businesses has a strong reputation in the United States and a customer base that aligns closely with our strategic focus. This acquisition significantly broadens our presence in the key North American market and will enable Klipboard to offer a broader range of field service solutions to our customers and enable them to manage their fleets, equipment and field operations more effectively.”

The Linxup team brings expertise and resources that will make an important contribution to our continued growth. Given our broad product set at Klipboard, Klipboard will offer additional services and solutions to Linxup customers, bring even more innovation and tools to our joint customer base. I look forward to meeting and welcoming the Linxup team and its customers to the Klipboard family.”
