Credo Introduces Quad Channel Transimpedance Amplifier for Optical Transceiver/AOC

Credo Technology is an innovator providing secure, high-speed connectivity solutions. Credo is committed to providing the data infrastructure market with the energy-efficient, high-speed solutions it needs to meet its growing bandwidth needs. Credo today released a new product: 4x50G transimpedance amplifier chip Teal 200. This chip can be used in QSFP56/QSFP-DD optical modules and AOC, and is suitable for AI and ultra-large-scale data centers with high capacity and low power consumption requirements. Application scenarios. Teal 200 supports 200Gbps SR4/DR4/FR4 and 400Gbps SR8/DR8/FR8 applications using 50Gbps PAM-4 modulation. Teal200 is also backward compatible and supports 4 x 25Gbps NRZ mode. Credo Teal 200 also adopts Credo’s industry-leading low-power design.

Michael Girvan Lampe, global vice president of sales and marketing at Credo, said: “Optical transceivers/pluggable modules are the cornerstone of the next generation of large-scale connectivity, and Teal 200 can work seamlessly with the Credo Seagull series DSP to provide module manufacturers with a complete solution. solution. The booming development of the AI/ML ecosystem has promoted the growth of the entire data infrastructure industry. In this regard, one of Credo’s tasks is to help customers launch new optical module products with higher performance and higher energy efficiency.”
