Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global end-to-end IoT solutions provider, announced the SE200ZC-AP, a new smart module designed to give manufacturers a faster path to AI-enabled cameras, industrial vision systems, and connected devices without the cost and complexity of building custom hardware from scratch.
The release targets growing enterprise demand for edge-based computer vision and artificial intelligence in modern Internet of Things (IoT) hardware. Built around the Rockchip RV1126B/RV1126BJ platform, the SE200ZC-AP packs a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, a 12-megapixel HDR image signal processor, an 8-megapixel AI-ISP, and a 3 TOPS neural processing unit (NPU) into a compact 40 x 40 mm footprint.
“With SE200ZC-AP, we’re giving our customers a single, ready-to-deploy platform that combines vision, AI, and connectivity so they can focus on their application instead of reinventing the hardware underneath it,” said Zeljko Maric, Product Development Manager, Smart Modules, Quectel Wireless Solutions.

Key Features and Technical Highlights
From the consumer standpoint, this is about high-quality HDR video capturing, AI processing capabilities for use in smart sensor applications, and 4K video at 45 fps encoding rate and 30 fps decoding rate, along with multiple video streams.
Transferring artificial intelligence tasks from the cloud into edge devices reduces processing latency, lowers data transfer overhead and reduces network expenses.
Connectivity and Integration Flexibility
Pre-installed Linux/Debian OS and the capability to connect external Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular modem (such as LTE Cat.1) and GNSS enables adding smart features to the device, such as remote monitoring, voice alerts, geolocation functionality without hardware redesign.
With multiple available interfaces, including Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, dual CAN FD and five cameras’ support, a single module can be used both as a home security camera, industrial vision system, and vehicle monitoring solution.
Ruggedization and Market Availability
The SE200ZC-AP smart module is set to be available in both the commercial and industrial variants. The industrial variant of this smart module can withstand operating temperatures between -35°C and 80°C, making it suitable for use in any outdoor, automotive, or factory floor environment.
The SE200ZC-AP will be targeted at smart security, industrial automation, intelligent vehicles, robotics vision, and smart homes.
