HCLTech has announced the appointment of Dr. Himanshu Tagra as Senior Vice President, marking the latest step in a career spanning technology leadership, software engineering and research. Tagra shared the appointment through a LinkedIn post, where he announced the beginning of his new role.
Tagra brings more than two decades of experience in software product development and engineering leadership. His professional background includes work across independent software vendors and online platforms, along with leadership of technology delivery and R&D initiatives. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from IIT Delhi and has also contributed research through academic papers and conference publications.
His move comes at a time when technology services organizations are placing greater emphasis on engineering capabilities, digital platforms, artificial intelligence and product-oriented development.
