In addition to the integration of Burst, Cyversity is launching a new online Jobs Board in early 2022 that will provide extensive opportunities for Cyversity members and non-members and allow sponsors, partners, and the public to post available cybersecurity roles. The public-facing Jobs Board connects employers with people who want to get their foot in the door or wish to expand their career. Cyversity members receive priority placement as an added benefit of their membership.

“We are excited to offer this innovative engagement platform to make it easy and inspiring for Cyversity members to share stories and experiences for effective and social communications. Further, we are thrilled to offer unique access and connections between employees and employers that will lead to more tailored job opportunities. Together these are a significant step in advancing our community building program,” said Maggie Domond, Cyversity Executive Director.

Beginning January 1, 2022, Cyversity has moved into a paid membership model with a yearly cost of $20 for Students and $100 for Professionals. Cyversity membership benefits include mentorships, scholarships, skills assessments, training resources, events and an entire community to offer the tools needed to succeed in a cybersecurity career. Current members and new members who joined prior to the new year will receive an invoice to continue accessing full Cyversity membership benefits.

“I highly recommend Cyversity to everyone – especially women or people of color. Cyversity helps you identify the skills you have and build upon the skills you need for a career in cybersecurity,” Penelope Rozhkova, Cybersecurity Consultant, Accenture. “I was selected for the Google Security Innovation Red Team opportunity, through scholarships I applied to offered by Cyversity, which tremendously bolstered my confidence and helped me understand the value of my skills.”
