KELA K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Israeli cyber threat intelligence firm KELA Inc., has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Fujitsu Limited to deploy KELA Group’s advanced cybersecurity platforms across the Japanese market.
The partnership establishes a dual-tier commercial framework. Under a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) agreement, Fujitsu will integrate KELA’s technology stack into its managed security offerings. Additionally, a value-added reseller agreement empowers Fujitsu to distribute and expand KELA’s software platform directly across Japanese enterprise, public sector, and critical infrastructure markets.
The alliance is designed to accelerate a paradigm shift from traditional reactive incident response to Active Cyber Defense (ACD). By combining KELA’s dark web intelligence with Fujitsu’s consulting and operational delivery capabilities, both organizations aim to help Japanese institutions detect threat actor activity before cyber intrusions occur.
Transitioning from Reactive Monitoring to Pre-Emptive Cyber Defense
As cyber risks are getting faster and more sophisticated, the rise of generative AI technology, multi-cloud environments, and digital supply chains has extended enterprise risk surfaces far beyond traditional internal network boundaries.

Today’s attackers conduct recon, exchange stolen credentials, inventory internet-facing digital assets, and analyze supply chain weaknesses well in advance of launching any sort of an attack. The KELA Active Cyber Defense approach provides external visibility on these risks through three important perspectives:
The Attacker Perspective: Constant monitoring of dark web forums, underground markets, and attacker conversations.
The Organizational Perspective: Discovery of exposed digital assets, shadow IT, and software vulnerabilities.
The Ecosystem View: Continuous risk profiling of third-party vendors, contractors, and digital supply chain partners.
Key KELA Group Solutions Integrated in the Deployment
KELA CTI Platform: Analyzes cybercrime ecosystems to capture compromised credentials, target lists, and early indicators of attack.
ULTRARED CTEM Platform: Identifies public-facing digital assets, evaluating their exposure and prioritization for vulnerability remediation.
SLING TPRM Platform: Assesses cybersecurity posture across connected suppliers, service providers, and corporate affiliates.
Combining Attacker Intelligence with Red Team Execution
The collaboration brings together KELA’s specialized intelligence on adversary behaviors with Fujitsu’s footprint across Japan’s corporate and public infrastructure sectors. Fujitsu’s cybersecurity division provides consultative support, managed security operations, and technical validation to convert raw intelligence into concrete remediation strategies.
“Fujitsu will combine the practical attacker-perspective expertise cultivated through our Red Team activities with KELA’s threat intelligence to provide services for enterprises and organizations that support Active Cyber Defense by staying ahead of threats. Threat intelligence only creates value when it is effectively used, and Attack Surface Management becomes truly meaningful once assets and risks have been made visible. Through threat hunting, we connect these capabilities and provide comprehensive support from identifying the risks that require action through to planning initial response measures, helping customers strengthen their defensive capabilities,” said Takeshi Sato Uvance Wayfinders Fujitsu Limited.
