Teledyne Energy Systems and NASA Combines to Advance Hydrogen Space Power Technology

Teledyne Energy Systems, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies, has been selected to participate in a NASA Announcement of Collaboration Opportunity, This collaboration aims at partnering Teledyne Energy Systems with NASA Glenn Research Center and NASA Johnson Space Center in order to help in the development of space power technology of the next generation. Under the Space Act Agreement, both NASA and Teledyne Energy Systems will help in maturing Hydrogen Electrical Power System (HEPS) to become TRL level 7 in space, after it attains TRL level 5. The partnership helps NASA in developing reliable and effective power technologies that it will use in future missions to the moon and deep space. HEPS is an advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology that provides air independent power.
