Flexera has introduced a comprehensive suite of AI Cost Management capabilities within its Flexera One platform, aimed at helping enterprises gain greater visibility, governance, and optimization of rapidly growing AI expenditures. Announced at FinOps X 2026, the new solution addresses a critical challenge facing organizations as AI adoption accelerates and costs increasingly outpace oversight, often causing enterprises to exhaust annual budgets within months. Positioned as the only AI cost management platform spanning agents, models, data, and compute, Flexera provides a unified view of consumption-based AI expenses, including tokens, credits, and other usage metrics, enabling organizations to understand where costs originate and how AI resources are being utilized. The company also launched an early access program involving select Fortune 500 organizations to help address emerging AI cost management challenges.

“AI in the enterprise has shifted from productivity to co-worker,” said Becky Trevino, chief product officer, Flexera. “Today’s AI isn’t just answering questions. AI is reasoning, retrying, and orchestrating. As we enter this new phase of AI, the cost economics are what’s holding back AI adoption. When the cost of AI exceeds revenue growth, the business breaks and AI transformation stalls.” She added, “We need a new AI operating model where we understand the complete economics of the AI stack and we enable AI optimization to work in our favor. Flexera enables this new operating model by giving our users the ability to measure and benchmark usage and optimize consumption costs to affordably run AI at scale.”
