Forsee Power, a leading innovator in smart battery solutions to promote electromobility sustainability, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Hitachi Industrial Products (collectively referred to as “Hitachi”). Such a strategic partnership sets forth an integrated approach toward the design and implementation of the most innovative powertrains for mining trucks, rail engines, construction machines, as well as joint international after-sale services.
Integration of Electric Powertrain and Smart Battery Design
The decarbonization of heavy-duty off-road vehicles requires overcoming a number of challenges related to energy density and resistance to harsh environments. The proposed industrial cooperation is capable of overcoming such obstacles, combining Hitachi’s expertise in efficient electric drives, power converters, and electrical components with Forsee Power’s revolutionary technologies in high-voltage lithium batteries.
In that way, the two global players will offer heavy industry a fully functional solution to replace existing diesel-powered drive trains with more cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternatives.

All batteries by Forsee Power are designed and engineered by their own engineering teams, utilizing local manufacturing facilities in Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America.
