Through this acquisition, CareCloud is expected to be better placed to cater to the increased regulatory requirements that many healthcare providers face while increasing their range of offerings. Mitchell Brie, CHC, who is an expert in healthcare compliance, founded Empower. Empower provides several healthcare services that include revenue integrity, mergers and acquisitions compliance, privacy and security, and compliance and ethics programs like HIPAA and HITECH policy development, OSHA compliance, and co-sourcing of compliance officer roles.
