DispatchTrack has introduced DT WMS, a warehouse management system specifically designed for third-party logistics providers (3PLs), addressing operational complexities that traditional warehouse management systems often fail to support effectively. Unlike conventional WMS platforms developed for single-brand warehouse operations, DT WMS is purpose-built for multi-client environments where inventory is frequently shared, freight is cross-docked, and billing structures are highly complex. The platform supports end-to-end warehouse workflows, including inbound processes such as advanced shipping notices, receiving, quality control and putaways, as well as outbound activities including order management, picking, packing, staging and shipping. A key differentiator is its AI-enabled billing and settlement capability, which allows 3PLs to describe customer billing and driver settlement rules in natural language, enabling AI to automatically create auditable billing workflows and reduce manual effort.

DT WMS also supports multi-tenant operations with complete client-level data separation, commingled inventory management and end-to-end cross-dock tracking. Integrated directly with DispatchTrack’s delivery management platform, the system connects warehouse operations with routing, dispatching and last-mile tracking within a single environment. “DispatchTrack’s mission has always been to reduce friction and simplify complexity across last mile deliveries, especially for 3PLs,” said Satish Natarajan, founder and CEO of DispatchTrack. “The WMS solutions on the market right now don’t effectively solve 3PL challenges, and the status quo makes it difficult for warehouse operations to flow efficiently into the last mile. That’s why we took it upon ourselves to build a WMS that actually makes 3PLs’ lives easier.”
