Aeris Enhances IoT Accelerator Platform to Deliver Global eSIM Orchestration and Carrier-Agnostic Visibility

Aeris, a global leader in secure cellular IoT solutions, announced a significant upgrade to its IoT Accelerator platform, transitioning it into a robust Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering. This evolution empowers enterprises and OEMs with seamless eSIM orchestration, delivering end-to-end visibility and control across global carrier networks through a single, streamlined interface.

With this platform expansion, Aeris and its mobile network operator partners can now offer customers a unified experience via a single eSIM SKU—eliminating the need for multiple aggregation layers that often drive up operational complexity and cost. Unlike competing models that introduce “margin stacking” through layered service providers, Aeris’ approach simplifies deployment and reduces total cost of ownership in an increasingly price-sensitive market.

Originally acquired from Ericsson in early 2023, the IoT Accelerator platform has since seen over $2 billion in strategic investments from Aeris. The platform’s scale and capabilities now allow companies in automotive, utilities, logistics, and smart devices to deploy and manage global eSIM-enabled solutions without the burden of fragmented service architectures or integration overhead.

According to Berg Insight’s 2025 report on “IoT Connectivity Management Platforms and eSIM Solutions,” the market for third-party IoT Connectivity Management Platforms is projected to grow from $1 billion in 2024 to $1.8 billion by 2029, representing a CAGR of 12%. Positioned at the forefront of this growth, Aeris currently partners with more than 30 top-tier mobile network operators, enabling IoT connectivity in over 190 countries.

“With this expansion of our IoT Accelerator, Aeris further establishes its leadership position in the IoT market. We provide businesses with flexible and scalable IoT connectivity with a single SKU and interface, without the need for SIM overlay platforms with their technical constraints and additional costs,” said David Schneider, CEO of Aeris. “Through our platform services and integration with carrier networks, we deliver a unified user experience, opening up new market opportunities and geographic expansion for carriers and other stakeholders.”
