With this platform expansion, Aeris and its mobile network operator partners can now offer customers a unified experience via a single eSIM SKU—eliminating the need for multiple aggregation layers that often drive up operational complexity and cost. Originally acquired from Ericsson in early 2023, the IoT Accelerator platform has since seen over $2 billion in strategic investments from Aeris. The platform’s scale and capabilities now allow companies in automotive, utilities, logistics, and smart devices to deploy and manage global eSIM-enabled solutions without the burden of fragmented service architectures or integration overhead.

According to Berg Insight’s 2025 report on “IoT Connectivity Management Platforms and eSIM Solutions,” the market for third-party IoT Connectivity Management Platforms is projected to grow from $1 billion in 2024 to $1.8 billion by 2029, representing a CAGR of 12%.
