Consumer packaged goods industry executive, Chad Marston, has joined JK Moving Services, the nation’s largest independently owned and operated moving company, as chief operating officer, reporting to JK Founder and Chairman Chuck Kuhn. Marston will oversee executive-led corporate strategies, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Global Supply Chain Management, Contracts, Marketing, and other segments of JK enterprise services.

Chad’s expertise includes developing and driving strategy and operational efficiency within complex organizations. As COO, Marston will collaborate with executive leaders to achieve business goals and differentiate the JK brand from the competition. He will drive strategy initiatives, planning, and analysis with a focus on operating and financial performance while optimizing the employee experience.

Marston joins the JK team after serving as the chief commercial officer for Hensley Beverage, one of the nation’s largest beverage distributors. He has worked in diverse industries across publicly traded global companies and large multi-generational family-owned businesses. Marston has held a variety of executive and leadership positions within sales, operations, marketing, M&A activities, and business development at Clorox, Dannon, Kellogg, and Sara Lee.

Marston and his wife Nicole are enjoying their relocation to Northern Virginia. Having worked and lived in many states around the US, he is returning to Virginia where he was raised and went to college at Virginia Commonwealth University.
