Raytheon, an RTX business, has introduced the MTS-A HD, the latest variant of its Multispectral Targeting System, designed to significantly improve visual capabilities for maritime helicopter missions. Building on the legacy of the MTS family-currently deployed on more than 400 U.S. Navy helicopters-the MTS-A HD offers enhanced targeting precision, high-definition imaging, and increased operational flexibility. The system is built with a modular architecture, ensuring seamless integration and providing a cost-effective upgrade path for current MTS users. “Navy helicopter pilots need the clearest possible view when flying in hostile areas,” said Bryan Rosselli, president of Advanced Products & Solutions at Raytheon.

Beyond U.S. applications, MTS-A HD is garnering strong international interest, including from Australia, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, India, Norway, Greece, Spain, South Korea, and other emerging markets across Europe and Asia.
