Loadsmart Expands AI Platform to 11 Agents for End-to-End Freight Operations

Loadsmart has expanded its Loadsmart AI platform to 11 AI agents designed to automate repetitive freight operations for enterprise shippers, covering processes from purchase order management to warehouse and dock coordination. There are five new agents for purchase order follow-up, detention management, dock door management, yard management tasks, and warehouse customer service, along with six agents that were deployed in September for scheduling, shipment tracking, document collection, tender failure, load audits, and claims. These agents work through existing transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), yard management systems (YMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems through email, phone, chat, and browser to accomplish tasks within certain rules. They can complete up to 70% to 90% of tasks independently, while the remaining is taken care of by freight experts at Loadsmart.

At Sightline 2027, the company’s first annual event for enterprise shippers, highlighted the industry’s shift toward autonomous logistics operations. “What is the most valuable commodity in the world? It’s not oil. It’s not gold. It’s not data. It is time,” said Felipe Capella, Chief Executive Officer of Loadsmart. “It’s very difficult for all of us to buy back time, and that’s exactly what this technology does. It gives you back time, and not only you personally, but you and your whole team.” Loadsmart AI is available now, with personalized demonstrations and free proofs of concept offered to shippers. The company aims to deploy agents within approximately three months, helping logistics teams reduce manual workloads and improve operational efficiency.
