DIMAAG-AI and Toshiba International Corporation have announced a collaboration to develop next-generation energy storage solutions for AI infrastructure using Toshiba’s SCiB™ lithium titanium oxide (LTO) battery technology. The collaboration combines Toshiba’s high-power SCiB™ batteries, with more than 100 million cells shipped since 2010, with DIMAAG’s active-flow immersion-cooled battery architecture designed for continuous 10C charge and discharge cycling and a targeted service life exceeding 10 years. The solution is intended to support AI data center applications including load smoothing, low-voltage ride through, backup power, demand response and grid stabilization. DIMAAG will integrate the battery system with power conversion and real-time controls through its ZettaWatt™ Power Platform, a modular grid-to-800 VDC architecture designed to address evolving utility and ISO requirements.
