The best is put to the test
A recent example highlights the effectiveness of MAKR through a collaboration with a Maine apple grower, Brackett’s Orchards , which used the program to design the packaging for a new retail product, Brackett’s Best Apple Chips .
The process began with Brackett’s selecting a packaging format, sizing it to the target size, adding a closure, and then incorporating various graphic options. Several options were considered to determine the optimal dimensions and best graphics for the brand and product. MAKR brought it all together and enabled Brackett’s to bring a new product concept to market quickly and easily.
“As a fruit farmer, I’m focused on growing the highest quality fruit – not food packaging. When demand for our apple chips increased, I needed a packaging expert to help me bring them to market,” explains Josh Paulin, owner of Brackett’s Orchards. “Using MAKR by DASL brought our ideas to life and we were able to easily create packaging designs and evaluate design ideas. From concept to design to prototype testing, ProAmpac shortened the time to product launch from what I thought would be many months to weeks. We are very pleased with our redesigned packaging for Brackett’s Best Apple Chips thanks to our collaboration with ProAmpac!”
