Radia, the aerospace pioneer developing WindRunner™-the world’s largest cargo aircraft-and Blue Water Shipping (BWS), a premier global provider of project logistics and freight forwarding, have announced a strategic joint marketing alliance. The partnership is designed to transform the transportation of oversized, complex, and heavy-lift cargo across several critical global sectors.
Through this agreement, Radia and Blue Water Shipping will operate as preferred partners to deliver end-to-end, integrated supply chain solutions. The joint offering merges the unprecedented volumetric capacity of the WindRunner aircraft with Blue Water Shipping’s deep expertise in multimodal logistics, customs brokerage, port operations, and complex project management.
Their plans include targeting their first marketing and commercialization strategy towards the following high-stake sectors:
Energy and Project Cargo: Managing the shipping process for huge components for industry and renewable energy infrastructures.
Humanitarian Relief and Disaster Response: Ensuring quick transportation of necessary goods directly to disaster areas.
Aerospace Logistics: Moving large aerospace and space components securely.
Military and Defense: Assisting in special transport needs for the military and defense sector worldwide.

As a new class of strategic airlift, WindRunner is engineered specifically to overcome a growing global bottleneck: traditional transport networks are physically incapable of moving the massive equipment required for modern industrial projects. As the airplane itself has been designed to function from semi-prepared runways in constrained infrastructure conditions, the introduction of the WindRunner will provide a means for delivering the oversize cargo straight to its destination point without disassembling the equipment and significantly reducing the project’s timeline.
Blue Water Shipping contributes to this partnership with years of experience in handling high-value and highly specialized freight shipments on a global scale.
“Many of the industries we support are constrained not only by infrastructure, but by the inability to efficiently move oversized cargo where and when it is needed,” said Mark Lundstrom, Founder and CEO of Radia. “By combining WindRunner’s transformational airlift capabilities with Blue Water Shipping’s global logistics expertise, we believe we can help create more flexible and resilient transportation solutions for customers operating in some of the world’s most challenging environments.”
“Blue Water Shipping has extensive experience delivering complex logistics solutions across industries that depend on precision, reliability, and flexibility,” said Rasmus Svane, Head of Global Product Development Wind, Blue Water Shipping. “Our collaboration with Radia represents an exciting opportunity to explore new logistics models for oversized cargo and help customers rethink what is possible when combining multimodal transportation solutions.”
