Geotab, a global leader in connected vehicle technology, and Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, a pioneer in automotive innovation, announced a strategic collaboration to integrate Mercedes-Benz connectivity services with Geotab’s leading fleet management platform. The partnership delivers a turnkey, factory-installed telematics solution that supports both electric vehicles (EVs) and internal combustion engine (ICE) models within the MyGeotab platform, streamlining data management and providing enhanced fleet insights.
With this integration, data is transmitted directly from Mercedes-Benz vehicles’ built-in telematics systems to MyGeotab, eliminating the need for aftermarket hardware installations. The result is reduced vehicle downtime, simplified implementation, and cost savings-ideal for mixed fleets navigating today’s complex mobility landscape.
“This year, we found that the average fleet includes vehicles from 13 different manufacturers. This can make fleet data management extremely complex. Geotab solves this issue for fleets by providing integrated solutions that enable comprehensive visibility across all vehicle types and manufacturers,” said Rob Minton, Associate Vice President of Connected Car Business Development at Geotab. “Our partnership with Mercedes-Benz USA underscores Geotab’s commitment to delivering a unified platform that simplifies mixed fleet management, enhances productivity, and provides high-quality data insights.”
