Envoy Appoints Former OpenTable Leader as Chief Technology Officer to Advance Integrated Workplace Platform

Envoy, the only integrated workplace platform that connects people, spaces, and data, has appointed Cormac Twomey as Chief Technology Officer to lead the company’s technology team in rethinking how workplaces work and helping Envoy’s customers facilitate smarter decisions about their largest investment.

After a seasoned career at OpenTable Cormac is joining Envoy to manage its technology organization, overseeing product engineering, infrastructure and operations. Navigating these changing workplace dynamics, in an era where managing costs and efficiency is crucial to business success, requires new technology that can streamline data and automate operations.

“We could not have asked for a better match than Cormac,” said Larry Gadea, CEO of Envoy, “our offerings have gotten substantially more complex and the thoughtful design and implementation of systems at scale has become more critical than ever before. It’s an exciting time here and we’re all very optimistic about the industry experience and mentality of excellence Cormac will bring to our culture.”

Envoy shares that mindset for workplaces.”

OpenTable’s engineering team grew significantly, delivering innovative solutions for millions of diners and thousands of restaurants worldwide. Before OpenTable, Cormac headed the matchmaking engineering group at eHarmony. He led the redesign of the matching platform, applying cutting-edge algorithms and data science to optimize the user experience and satisfaction.
