Tigo Energy Announces Industry’s First Service Program for Commercial and Industrial Solar Installers

Launch of “Green Globe” design and installation service program to provide rapid shutdown safety and value-added high-quality products to C&I solar installers around the world

Tigo Energy, a leading provider of intelligent solar power and energy storage solutions, is a leading installer of commercial and industrial (C&I) systems. We announced the launch of the Green Globe service program, which provides a premium support experience for customers. The Green Globe Program improves the installer experience and raises the quality of the entire solar power value chain through a process that includes support for Tigo C&I installers before, during and after installation. Masu.

Once installers register online, Green Globe support staff will assist them in determining the scope of services, including service schedules, technical training prerequisites, and the need for on-site visits. Tigo customers receive complimentary design reviews prior to installation and on-call support from local Tigo locations during installation. And in post-installation reviews and follow-up discussions, Tigo will resolve any open issues and gather feedback on the installation experience. Tigo-based commercial and industrial solar power systems operating by March 2024 are eligible for the Green Globe Program. MLPE equipment other than Tigobase may also be eligible for paid services under the Green Globe Program. By expanding the Green Globe program and increasing the resources available to solar installers, we continue our mission to provide rapid shutdown safety and quality solar power. I will continue to do so.

Germs J.D. Dillon, CMO of Tigo Energy, said: “Although no two commercial solar power systems are the same, some design and installation best practices are nearly universal. The Green Globe Program leverages our engineering and field experience. The idea behind this initiative is to bridge the gap between Tigo’s strengths in solar hardware design and the equipment installation strengths of our installer partners. The idea is to strengthen the connective tissue in the value chain. Although we are separate companies, we believe that the end customer sees the various entities coming together and working together to provide services. You have to be able to do it.”

To complement the Green Globe program, the Tigo Academy platform provides training and continuing education aimed at building and enhancing the skillsets of commercial solar installers. The platform provides best practices for design and installation practices and a curriculum for installers to link quality solar and energy storage products. Once you complete your Tigo Academy courses, you will be eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CEC) from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP®).
