EliTe Solar Inc., a leading global provider of photovoltaic modules and energy solutions, is proud to announce the appointment of Frank Faller as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Faller comes to EliTe Solar with more than 30 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry, covering a variety of areas including research, production, sales, procurement, business development, management and consulting.
As CTO, Faller will oversee all aspects of technology development, focusing on advancing EliTe Solar’s PV technology and driving innovation across all of the company’s manufacturing areas. His responsibilities include establishing a manufacturing facility in the US , providing technical support to the sales and service teams, and driving research and development for product improvements.
Faller’s extensive experience spans the entire PV value chain, with a focus on upstream manufacturing of key solar components such as wafers, cells and modules. His knowledge of solar module quality, lifetime and new storage technologies will help EliTe Solar maintain its position as a global leader in the solar industry.

Faller’s academic qualifications include a PhD in physics from the University of Freiburg in collaboration with the renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy (ISE) in Freiburg. Before moving to the solar industry, Faller conducted research in the field of elementary particle physics and spent time at Fermilab near Chicago and at CERN in Switzerland.
