Zuora and Workday Partners for Revenue Management and Financial Accuracy

Zuora, a leading monetization platform for modern business, announced an expanded partnership with Workday, integrating Zuora’s order-to-cash automation with Workday Financial Management. The collaboration is designed to give business-to-consumer (B2C) companies a more streamlined way to manage complex billing and revenue models, whether driven by subscriptions, usage-based pricing, promotions, or hybrid offerings.

As customer expectations evolve, many organizations are adopting new business models that challenge traditional billing systems. Handling diverse revenue streams often requires navigating varying rules, compliance standards, and audit requirements. By combining Zuora’s intelligent monetization capabilities with Workday’s trusted financial platform, companies can gain more accurate revenue tracking, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and accelerate audits with automated reporting.

“Today’s announcement highlights our continued commitment to Zuora and Workday customers, combining Workday’s trusted financial backbone with Zuora’s intelligent monetization engine to optimize the order-to-cash process,” said Todd McElhatton, chief operating and financial officer at Zuora. “Together, we’re empowering finance to be a stronger strategic partner to the business, armed with the unified view of financial data necessary to go to market even faster.”

The partnership is powered by the certified Zuora Connector for Workday Financial Management, which simplifies monetization management by acting as a specialized sub-ledger in Workday Accounting Center. This connector automatically feeds detailed financial records into Workday’s general ledger (GL), eliminating manual entry and giving companies a unified, real-time view of financial performance.

“Accuracy is a constant challenge for companies managing complex revenue streams,” said Rob Enslin, president and chief commercial officer at Workday. “Our partnership with Zuora will provide customers with a single, reliable view of their financial data – making it easier to operate efficiently, no matter the business model.”
