Lattice expands software product portfolio with Lattice Drive solution stack to accelerate automotive application development

New stack enables infotainment connectivity and processing, flexible ADAS, and low-power zonal connection

Lattice Semiconductor, the leader in low-power programmable, introduced the Lattice Drive solution stack to enable accelerated development of advanced and flexible models and applications for the automotive system. Expanding the company’s portfolio of application-specific software solutions series to the automotive market, Lattice Drive is designed for automotive applications, including connectivity for infotainment displays and in-cab data processing, connection and processing of ADAS sensors ( Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and low power zone connection applications for driver, cockpit and vehicle control.

“The automotive sector is evolving rapidly and cars are getting smarter with new technological advances, especially with zonal architectures that require varied sensors and displays across all vehicle models. Now more than ever, manufacturers need solutions that allow them to innovate while maintaining flexibility for future upgrades,” said Bob O’Donnell, president and chief analyst, TECHnalysis Research. “Lattice’s software solutions offer a significant advantage to their customers by making it easier for them to integrate Lattice’s scalable, low-power, compact-size FPGAs into a variety of applications, and now also include advanced automotive solutions.”

“Bringing complete software solutions early in the application design process is essential for accelerating time to market,” said Esam Elashmawi, chief strategy and marketing officer at Lattice Semiconductor. “We are excited to introduce our sixth range of application-specific solutions, Lattice Drive, which deliver advanced automotive application capabilities that make it easier than ever for our customers to develop innovative in-vehicle experiences with our low-power FPGA solutions.”
