DXC Partners with Ferrari to Redefine Driver HMI for Next-Generation Vehicles

DXC Technology has announced an agreement with Ferrari to further strengthen their collaboration, focusing on the development of next-generation in-vehicle infotainment systems. This partnership aims to enhance the connection between drivers and Ferrari’s high-performance vehicles, delivering an unparalleled driving experience.

Leveraging its extensive expertise in the automotive sector, DXC will work to ensure Ferrari’s infotainment systems are engineered to provide exceptional functionality and user experience. These systems are designed to align with the dynamic needs of Ferrari owners while keeping pace with evolving market demands.

DXC’s collaboration with Ferrari began in 2021 with the reengineering of Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems for current and future Ferrari models.

In a recent milestone, DXC played a key role in the development of the software for the Ferrari F80, a groundbreaking supercar launched in October 2024. Designed for both road and track, the F80’s advanced software—crafted by DXC—delivers seamless, high-speed functionality through its multiple displays. The driver-focused ‘digital cockpit’ system offers enhanced usability for everyday road use and transforms into a performance-driven racing display on the track. Key features include real-time performance metrics such as speed, G-force, revs, and tire pressure, combined with immersive visuals that deliver a thrilling racing experience.
