Overhaul, a provider of real-time risk monitoring and cargo security solutions, has expanded its exclusive partnership with BNSF Railway, building on nearly a decade of collaboration to improve supply chain security. The alliance leverages BNSF Railway’s security system across its network together with the law enforcement team to recognize threats early and safeguard the cargo being transported via BNSF’s 32,500-mile rail network. By working in partnership, BNSF Railway ensures that the customers receive shipment intelligence and security services which will help in identifying any cargo tampering, fraud, and organized crime activities. According to Overhaul, they offer 99.9% shipment protection through shipment intelligence and risk management. The partnership enables direct communication between Overhaul and BNSF for faster incident detection and intervention, while shared threat intelligence supports informed decisions and targeted security responses.

BNSF special agents also coordinate with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, supported by around-the-clock communications specialists and Overhaul’s Global Security Operations team. “Working with Overhaul’s verified intelligence advances our prevention-first approach to supply chain security,” said Chief Special Agent and Assistant Vice President of BNSF Police Will Johnson. “Our teams have built a deep foundation of trust over the years, and this partnership strengthens our ability to take informed action and uphold rail as the most secure mode of freight transportation by land.” The expanded partnership aims to reduce cargo losses, minimize shipping disruptions, and improve coordinated responses to increasingly organized cargo crime.
