Bel Fuse Inc. has appointed Richard E. Hamilton as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective September 28, 2026. Hamilton will lead the company’s global legal function and advise its executive leadership team and Board of Directors on legal and governance matters.
In his new position, Hamilton will oversee corporate governance and Board matters while supporting Bel’s public-company reporting, regulatory compliance, commercial activities, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and other legal functions. The expanded responsibilities come as electronic component manufacturers navigate increasingly complex regulatory, commercial and technology environments.
Hamilton joins Bel with more than 25 years of legal experience. Most recently, he served as Deputy General Counsel at Stryker Corporation, where he held leadership responsibilities covering international operations and the Asia-Pacific region. His background includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate securities, compliance, litigation, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and commercial matters.
