Temu has also entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement with Poșta Română, the national postal corporation of Romania, for efficient supply chain management and logistics for domestic businesses that conduct business through Temu.
As part of the partnership, Poșta Română will handle an integrated package eco-system from first-mile pickup of packages from sellers, central sorting at domestic logistics centers, and last-mile delivery in the entire nation. Delivery options will include doorstep delivery, local pickup, package lockers, and post offices throughout the country.
By leveraging Poșta Română’s national network, the collaboration provides domestic businesses with a standardized fulfillment model designed to reduce operational friction and improve order turnaround times for consumers.
Expanding Regional Merchant Footprint
To support merchant onboarding and operational growth, Temu and Poșta Română plan to host joint educational events for Romanian businesses. Additionally, executive teams from both organizations will establish periodic operational reviews to monitor delivery performance and refine service workflows.

Temu initially launched its consumer marketplace in Romania in July 2023, expanding access to local vendors in March 2025 through its Local Seller Program. The seller initiative currently operates across more than 35 international markets.
“Our network reaches communities across Romania, including in rural areas,” said Valentin Ștefan, CEO of Poșta Română. “This agreement will make our delivery and return services available to Romanian sellers on Temu, helping them serve customers throughout the country. We also welcome the opportunity to support local businesses that want to reach customers elsewhere in Europe.”
“Four in five small businesses in Europe do not sell online, and the business organizations and industry associations we met pointed to the same barriers: complexity, cost and not knowing where to start,” said a Temu spokesperson. “Through the collaboration with Poșta Română, we aim to support more Romanian sellers with reliable logistics services and new growth opportunities at home and beyond.”

The partnership helps overcome the key challenges that SMEs face in joining the digital economy. The merging of the physical logistics network of Poșta Română and the global platform of Temu creates new channels of scalable distribution for the Romanian sellers, providing opportunities for their sales to both domestic customers and those in other countries across Europe.
