AvAir has finalized a definitive agreement to acquire Full Stop Technics, a specialized maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider. The strategic transaction integrates dual FAA- and EASA-certified wheel and brake repair capabilities directly into AvAir’s global component distribution platform.
By bringing Full Stop Technics’ technical expertise under its corporate umbrella, AvAir bridges the gap between massive parts availability and certified in-house workshop infrastructure. The integrated operational model allows commercial airlines, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and MRO customers to source hardware and execute component overhauls through a single, continuous supply chain.
“This acquisition strengthens AvAir’s aftermarket platform by adding certified wheel and brake MRO capabilities,” said Mike Bianco, CEO of AvAir. “Full Stop Technics brings the technical expertise and customer-first approach that make it the right fit as we continue to expand support for our customers.”

Driving Turnaround Efficiency and Fleet Support
The corporate combination unlocks significant logistical advantages, matching Full Stop Technics’ specialized tooling and repair station certifications with AvAir’s massive global inventory. Notably, the acquisition provides critical structural support for AvAir’s ongoing fleet initiatives, including its recent high-volume asset acquisition of more than 1,600 wheel and brake assemblies from Lufthansa Technik. Transitioning these technical services to an in-house delivery model is engineered to shorten turnaround times (TAT) and streamline client workflows.
“This partnership is a great fit for our customers and our long-term strategy, especially following our recent purchase of more than 1,600 wheels and brakes from Lufthansa Technik,” added Brandon Wesson, President of AvAir. “Bringing this capability in house allows us to pair AvAir’s extensive inventory position with certified wheel and brake repair support, creating a faster, more integrated solution and a significant benefit for our customers.”
Physical Logistics Expansion and Market Readiness
The deal falls into line with a wider trend of geographic and physical expansion for AvAir. Recently, the firm established its third large North American logistics center at Dallas, Texas, located in close proximity to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), designed to maximize AOG (Aircraft on Ground) logistics efficiency in America.
For Full Stop Technics, a merger with an industry leader in terms of inventories provides more market access without compromising its tradition of high-quality components.
“Joining forces with AvAir marks an exciting new chapter for Full Stop Technics and the customers we serve,” said Bill Morales, President of Full Stop Technics. “Over nearly four decades, our team has built a reputation for responsiveness, precision and quality in wheel and brake MRO. AvAir shares those values, and together we can give customers a more connected experience from parts sourcing through certified repair and overhaul. We look forward to supporting our team, our customers and the broader aviation community in this next phase.”
