Skyryse and Robinson Helicopter Partner to Develop SkyOS, Autonomous R66-Based Defense UAS

Skyryse, a pioneer in aviation automation and simplified flight controls, has announced a strategic partnership with Robinson Helicopter Company, via its subsidiary Robinson Unmanned for the integration of the SkyOS™ autonomous platform into the Robinson R66 helicopter, as well as development of a Group 4 unmanned aircraft system (UAS) for military purposes. This collaboration between Skyryse and Robinson will leverage the strength of both companies by combining their cutting-edge technologies and proven aircraft manufacturing capabilities to produce a scalable, affordable autonomous platform that can be used for different military missions such as CCA, ALE, MUM-T, and ISR. The partnership is aimed at addressing growing defense requirements for reliable and affordable autonomous aircraft that can be deployed quickly and at scale.
