LX Pantos and SK Innovation E&S Partner on Solar Power Project at Logistics Centers

LX Pantos, collaborating with SK Innovation E&S, is implementing solar power generation systems in three of its logistics centers in South Korea. This is a major move towards its sustainability and ESG initiatives. SK Innovation E&S will offer turnkey solutions under the MOU for investment, design, building, and maintenance. Meanwhile, LX Pantos will install solar panels on rooftops in facilities located in Incheon, Changwon, and Yongin in amounts of 2 MWs. One of the most impressive features of this program is that it will include the implementation of a power sharing system. Thus, energy produced in the logistics center in Yongin will be used to support energy needs in the one in Changwon. This initiative will contribute to lowering the annual level of carbon emission by 1,200 tons.

We will continue to advance climate action and ESG management in ways that allow the logistics industry to best serve the sustainability of both the company and the planet.” Additionally, the company is pursuing green building certifications and expanding the use of sustainable aviation fuel to further decarbonize its operations.
