The latter company has been supporting the U. S. Government with mission-critical, geospatial, and maritime software solutions for over 10 years.
The deal was placed after Windward was acquired by FTV Capital, a New York-based growth equity firm, in 2025. Through this acquisition, Windward became a firm primarily owned by the U. S. citizens. By joining Prominent Edge, Windward further confirms its commitment to the U. S. defense and intelligence communities.
