Hughes Acquires Anderson Connectivity for Space and Defense Innovation

Hughes Network Systems, an EchoStar company, announced that it has acquired Anderson Connectivity. This company is a leading innovator in aerospace design, engineering, and manufacturing. It is situated in Melbourne, Florida. This acquisition boosts Hughes’ technology and engineering abilities. It also expands its product range. This helps the company grow faster in global aviation, space, and defense markets.

As part of the acquisition, Hughes will integrate Brian Anderson, founder of Anderson Connectivity, as Vice President, Aviation Technology & Innovation Officer. Additionally, Anderson Connectivity’s Melbourne facility will now serve as a central hub for aviation innovation and rapid product development for Hughes and EchoStar.
