DAT Launches Carrier Management Suite in DAT One

DAT Freight & Analytics has unveiled Carrier Management Suite, a new carrier-qualification tool on the DAT One load board designed to help freight brokers determine which carriers can access their loads based on authority, insurance, and other factors. Unlike third-party rating systems, this integrated solution brings carrier authentication directly into the procurement process, allowing brokers to establish Qualification Settings that filter out unqualified carriers while ensuring relevant ones see full load details. The platform also introduces Company Profiles, enhancing the DAT Directory with detailed business and safety information, providing brokers a centralized, authoritative view of carrier capabilities and enabling carriers to showcase their services more comprehensively.

Leveraging insights from Trucker Tools, the suite integrates ELD/telematics data, allowing brokers to track on-time performance and carriers to display operational reliability. “Carrier Management Suite is philosophically and technologically different from other authentication systems on the market that require brokers to bounce among multiple systems and platforms, and can filter out carriers that might otherwise meet a broker’s needs,” said Kary Jablonski, DAT Vice President, Trucker Tools & Broker Growth. The launch also strengthens security and fraud prevention on DAT One, incorporating enhanced login authentication, behavioral monitoring, and risk assessment, building a more trusted and efficient broker-carrier network.
