Eaton, an intelligent power management company, announced a strategic collaboration with Xendee Corporation, a leading provider of distributed energy and microgrid design and operations software. By combining Xendee’s advanced AI-driven microgrid modeling platform with Eaton’s proven engineering expertise and power distribution technologies, the companies will deliver fully integrated solutions that simplify the design, deployment, and operation of distributed energy resources (DERs).
As part of the collaboration, Eaton led Xendee’s Series B financing round, fueling the company’s next phase of growth and accelerating the rollout of AI-powered tools that improve efficiency, resilience, and sustainability for microgrid operators.
Unlocking Smarter, More Resilient Energy Systems
According to the International Energy Agency, applying AI across the buildings sector alone could save up to 300 terawatt-hours (TWh) of energy annually. Together, Eaton and Xendee are helping customers capitalize on this potential-optimizing both new and existing microgrids with AI to improve energy resilience, reduce operational costs, and meet sustainability goals.
