PepsiCo and AWS Forge Strategic Alliance to Accelerate Global Digital Transformation

PepsiCo, announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), underscoring its continued investment in accelerating digital transformation across its global enterprise. Through the expanded use of AWS’s robust cloud technologies, PepsiCo is advancing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, modernizing operations, and deepening consumer engagement with data-driven insights.

The comprehensive partnership spans PepsiCo’s worldwide operations and business units, with AWS and its Professional Services team supporting a broad spectrum of transformative initiatives, including:

  • Enterprise Cloud Migration and IT Modernization: PepsiCo is migrating key workloads and applications to AWS, enabling faster innovation cycles. This move empowers teams to swiftly prototype, test, and deploy new technologies that improve both customer and employee experiences.

  • Advancing Generative AI Capabilities: AWS has enhanced PepsiCo’s internal generative AI platform, PepGenX, by integrating it with Amazon Bedrock. This provides PepsiCo’s developers and data scientists access to multi-modal foundation models and agentic AI, unlocking new opportunities for strategic AI use cases built securely on AWS infrastructure.

  • Enhancing Consumer Engagement: PepsiCo is using AWS’s capabilities to derive real-time insights into advertising effectiveness, enable granular audience segmentation, and deliver hyper-personalized content and targeted marketing—driving stronger brand resonance with Amazon shoppers and broader audiences.

  • Reimagining Global Supply Chain Operations: PepsiCo and AWS are jointly exploring opportunities to digitize the supply chain end-to-end. This includes predictive maintenance for manufacturing equipment and logistics systems to boost operational efficiency, resilience, and agility across PepsiCo’s expansive production and distribution network.
