Warp Introduces ‘Pickup Grace’ to Mitigate Costs of Missed LTL Pickups

Warp, a technology-driven leader in middle-mile logistics, has unveiled “Pickup Grace,” a service designed to address the challenges associated with missed Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) pickups. Traditionally, missed pickups result in detention fees, increased shipping costs, and supply chain disruptions. When a pickup fails with a traditional LTL carrier, you’re stuck with fees, delays, and zero answers,” said Troy Lester, Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer at Warp. Pickup Grace is our way of saying: that’s not good enough. We believe your team deserves a fair chance to succeed on the first try.”

The service offers a 30-minute grace period, proactive communication with facility contacts, and additional time if needed, aiming to increase the success rate of first-attempt pickups. Pickup Grace is a direct response to how LTL carriers operate today, indifferent, transactional, and deadline-driven to a fault,” stated Daniel Sokolovsky, CEO of Warp. We don’t just show up. We make sure the pickup actually happens, even if that means we wait.” This initiative is now standard for all LTL shipments booked through Warp at no extra cost, reflecting the company’s commitment to flexibility and efficiency in modern supply chains.
