PTC announced an expanded partnership with Garrett Motion as the automotive technology provider accelerates its shift toward a unified, SaaS-based product development ecosystem. Building on its successful implementation of PTC’s cloud-native Onshape CAD and PDM platform, Garrett will now adopt Codebeamer+ for application lifecycle management and Windchill+ for product lifecycle management, replacing multiple legacy systems. According to Olivier Rabiller, President and CEO of Garrett Motion, Inc., “Partnering with PTC enables us to unify our product development and IT landscape on an AI-ready architecture, advancing the differentiated technologies we bring to customers in the automotive industry and beyond.”

Garrett’s use of Onshape has already improved global collaboration by democratizing CAD access across internal teams and external partners. The addition of Codebeamer+ and Windchill+ will further unify engineering disciplines and expand data accessibility across software and hardware requirements, product configurations, and bills of material, strengthening the company’s product data foundation.
