Keysight Technologies has introduced SOS Enterprise, an advanced edition of its engineering data management platform that builds on SOS Core to automate data governance and traceability, helping semiconductor and electronics organizations prepare for large-scale AI adoption. Designed for globally distributed engineering teams facing growing design complexity, data volumes, and fragmented tool environments, the platform establishes a single system of record to transform siloed design and verification information into governed, reusable knowledge. SOS Enterprise standardizes data management across multiple sites and regulatory environments, delivers automated compliance tracking, and creates clear data lineage so teams can confidently integrate AI into design and verification workflows. It also strengthens IP protection through fine-grained access controls, geofencing, and compliance-driven restrictions, while automating traceability and custom workflows to eliminate manual processes and improve cross-site IP reuse.

Simon Rance, General Manager, Data and IP Management at Keysight, said: “Engineering organizations tell us they’re ready to adopt AI, but their data isn’t. When design files, verification results, and IP libraries are scattered across disconnected systems, AI tools can’t deliver trustworthy outcomes. We built SOS Enterprise to solve that foundational problem by automating the governance and traceability work that’s currently done manually, making their engineering data AI-ready so teams can focus on innovation rather than data management. Early customer deployments have demonstrated significant improvements in IP reuse, faster project orchestration, and reduced operational overhead.”
