Hesai is collaborating with leading European windshield manufacturers AGC and Saint-Gobain to bring behind-the-windshield lidar integration one step closer to reality. Alongside ETX, Hesai will present FTX, the world’s widest-FOV fully solid-state lidar, which offers a 180° × 140° field of view, doubles the resolution of previous models, and reduces exposed optical area by 40%. FTX is designed to eliminate blind spots, enhance automated parking, and support safer lane changes by tracking vehicles in real time. Guided by its mission to make mobility safer and smarter, Hesai is positioning its innovations as the next step toward widespread lidar adoption and the future of autonomous mobility.
