Advansor Introduces High-Capacity CO₂ Heat Pump for Industrial Use

Advansor is a Dover corporation that has recently launched the SteelXL Heat Pump, a high-performance system powered by CO2 designed specifically for large-scale operations such as food production and district heating. The SteelXL can produce a whopping 5MW from one single unit and can be scaled up to produce a total of 50MW, effectively serving as a viable replacement to conventional gas or oil boilers producing hot water at 203°F. “The SteelXL Heat Pump expands Advansor’s ability to deliver robust, energy-efficient heating solutions for industrial applications,” said Kristian Breitenbauch, Managing Director at Advansor. “The platform is designed to support reliable performance at scale while enabling customers to meet evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements.”

The system relies on air or water-based heat sources and employs sophisticated technologies such as ejectors and variable speed drives to ensure a CoP rating of 4.0 or more. The ability to offer flawless compatibility with pre-existing pipelines and perform optimally at any temperature range ensures that Advansor serves as an invaluable resource for industry leaders seeking carbon-neutral heating facilities on a massive scale.
