Chelsea Lighting, a value-add lighting and lighting technology distributor with deep project management expertise, announced Sean Lafferty as Chief Executive Officer. A seasoned industry veteran with three decades of global experience, Lafferty will lead New York City-based Chelsea with a focus on driving expansion in new and existing verticals and further establishing the company as the leading lighting technology solutions provider.

Throughout his career, Lafferty has built a strong track record of delivering profitable and sustainable growth by driving team performance and executing innovative sales strategies. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Steinel America where he reported to the Board of Directors in Germany and drove 100% growth in lighting controls revenue in just one year. Lafferty has also held roles at LG Electronics, IBM and Ernst & Young.

Lafferty will lead an experienced team at Chelsea supported by industry veteran and Chief Operating Officer Bob Bazan.
