Nth Cycle, the revolutionary critical metals refining company, announced the appointment of Gabi Perlingeiro Knesel, Ph.D., as Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Knesel brings more than 15 years of global experience in mining operations, hydrometallurgical process innovation, and commercialization of industrial technologies.
As CTO, Knesel will lead Nth Cycle’s engineering and technology development, execute the company’s roadmap to scale operations across new metals and markets, and oversee the testing facility at the company’s Burlington headquarters. She will also support Nth Cycle’s business and corporate development groups to ensure project execution and deployment.

Prior to joining Nth Cycle, Knesel served as Senior Vice President at Locus Fermentation Solutions, where she created and led the Mining and Metals business unit; provided processing and operational expertise to industry leaders, including top five global producers in copper, nickel, zinc and others; and co-headed the development of biosurfactant-based solutions for metals extraction. Prior to Locus Fermentation, she held senior positions in Global Sales & Business Development at Ecolab, where she developed business expansions; led Mining Digital AI implementation programs; and managed Global accounts in different metals extraction.
