UPS, announced it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Andlauer Healthcare Group, a premier Canadian-based provider of third-party logistics and specialized cold chain transportation solutions tailored for the healthcare sector.
Under the terms of the deal, AHG shareholders will receive CAD $55.00 per share in cash, valuing the transaction at approximately CAD $2.2 billion (USD $1.6 billion). This strategic acquisition significantly expands UPS Healthcare’s global cold chain network, enabling the delivery of advanced temperature-sensitive logistics solutions demanded by the healthcare industry.
