SEKO Logistics Announces Akhil Nair as Senior Vice President, Global Ocean Freight

SEKO Logistics, the leader in end-to-end global logistics, announced the promotion of Akhil Nair as Senior Vice President, Global Ocean Freight & Global Operational Excellence upon the retirement of Alfred Hofmann, formerly Senior Vice President, Global Ocean Freight.

Nair currently serves as Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence. Joining SEKO nearly six years ago, Nair has demonstrated immense skill in multiple roles, from Global Carrier Management, leading all products for APAC, to deploying global commercial and operational excellence initiatives within SEKO’s service portfolio. In this expanded role, he will lead SEKO’s global ocean freight team, providing guidance on business goals and implementation plans, maintaining relationships with SEKO’s network of global ocean carriers and will have P&L operating authority.

Prior to SEKO, Nair served as Vice President, Global Product Development, Global Freight Management & Global Ocean Procurement, Asia Pacific for CEVA Logistics. In that role, he re-launched an improved Global Freight Management Services (FMS) product, which provided highly efficient solutions for clients from diverse industries through a 4PL services business model.
