Einride, a top tech firm in digital, electric, and self-driving freight, is expanding with PostNord AS. This company is the leading parcel and logistics provider in the Nordics. The extended partnership will double electrified transport. It will reach 1.3 million kilometers each year. This is a key step for sustainable freight operations in the region.
The improved operations will cover major logistics routes in the Oslo area. They will be supported by Einride’s smart freight mobility system. This includes its fleet of connected, fully electric trucks and Einride Saga, the company’s AI-powered digital operating system that optimizes route planning, energy management, and autonomous freight movement.
“Our growth strategy is rooted in deep, scalable partnerships and this demonstrates the long-term potential within our existing customer portfolio,” said Roozbeh Charli, CEO of Einride. “Norway continues to lead by example in the transition to electric transportation, and we’re proud to deepen our impact here together with a forward-thinking partner like PostNord.”

PostNord handles 35% of all parcel shipments in the Nordics. This role is key for regional logistics. In 2023, we started partnering with Einride. They travel over 1,500 fossil-free kilometers daily with zero-emission vehicles. We expect to save around 2,100 tonnes of CO₂e in three years.
PostNord’s expansion will speed up its shift to a fossil-free fleet by 2030. They expect big cuts in emissions and better operational efficiency.
“Our growth strategy relies on strong, scalable partnerships. “This shows the long-term potential with our current customers,” said Roozbeh Charli, CEO of Einride. “Norway leads in electric transportation. We’re proud to partner with PostNord for an even bigger impact.”
Pioneering the Future of Autonomous of Freight
In September 2025, Einride and PostNord reached a major milestone. They completed the world’s first cabless, electric, and autonomous cross-border delivery. This delivery was done entirely without a human driver. The EU helped fund the MODI project. It showed how Einride’s electric and self-driving tech can simplify cross-border logistics and customs.
