Trilliant, a leading global provider of utility solutions for advanced metering and smart grid systems, is pleased to announce a new partnership with SAMART to deploy Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand (PEA). The deployment demonstrates Trilliant’s continued commitment to utilities in the Asia Pacific region at market-leading performance levels.

PEA Thailand has awarded the contract to STS Consortium comprising SAMART Telcoms PCL and SAMART Communication Services.

Trilliant has already connected more than 3 million smart meters for customers in India and Malaysia, with plans to deploy an additional 7 million meters over the next three years through existing partnerships.
