VillageMD Welcomes William Chavey, II, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer of Michigan

VillageMD announced William “Rusty” Chavey, II, MD, will join the organization as the chief medical officer of the Michigan region. In this position, Dr. Chavey will be responsible for helping Village Medical clinicians deliver high-quality care that is patient-centered and delivers consistent health outcomes.

Prior to Village Medical, Dr. Chavey held physician leadership positions for more than 20 years at the University of Michigan Medical School. During that time, he also founded Emmaus Health, in Ann Arbor, Mich., to create and extend a model for Catholic outpatient primary care across the country.
