- Maxine Carrington, JD, Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer, Northwell Health. Carrington comes to this role with vast experience, currently serving at New York’s largest health care provider private employer. Since joining Northwell in 2008, Carrington has served in progressively responsible leadership roles and has successfully driven team member engagement and development at every layer of the health system.
- Farheen Dam, North America Health Solutions Leader, Aon. Dam is responsible for leading the growth, strategy and execution of the Health and Benefits business and identifying trends and innovation in the market. Dam brings more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Dam is pleased to join the board at NCHL and says “NCHL’s emphasis on Health Care leadership, community and collaboration are critical in this ever-evolving Health Care landscape. I am honored to join the Board and support NCHL and their member’s mission.”
- Jeffrey Simms, Assistant Professor and Director of Professional Development and Alumni Affairs, Department of Health Policy & Management at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. He has been in his role with UNC Chapel Hill for 14 years and has also served as the Interim Associate Dean for Inclusive Excellence at Gillings. Simms also has held a senior leadership role with the NC Department of Health and Human Services as the Assistant Director of the NC Medicaid Program and Deputy Director of the NC Office of Rural Health for ten years.
