Uber and iFood Forge Strategic Alliance to Elevate Everyday Convenience for Consumers in Brazil

Uber Technologies ,and iFood, one of the world’s leading food delivery platforms, announced a strategic partnership designed to streamline daily life for millions of Brazilians. This collaboration enables users to access each company’s core services within the other’s app-offering a more seamless and integrated experience.

Through this partnership, iFood users can now book Uber rides directly through the iFood app, while Uber users will have the option to order food, groceries, pharmacy items, and convenience store products via iFood, all within the Uber app interface.

By combining the strengths of two of Brazil’s most widely used platforms, the initiative aims to reduce friction in users’ everyday routines. Whether commuting across the city or placing a dinner order, Brazilians will now enjoy a unified journey without the need to toggle between multiple apps.

We are thrilled to partner with iFood in Brazil,” said Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber. “Today, only around half of iFood and Uber customers in Brazil use both platforms. So this partnership represents a big milestone in our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything at the tap of a button.”

iFood has transformed the way people order food and everyday items in Brazil, just as Uber has revolutionized the way Brazilians move around,” said Diego Barreto, CEO of iFood. “Now, this integration represents a major step forward, with both companies innovating to offer a new way to access everyday services. We believe this partnership will drive more orders for restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and convenience retailers; generate more income for couriers and drivers; and make consumers’ everyday lives even easier.”
